Watch This Surfer Fight Off a Shark Attack

Scary!I can only post this short clip because in the longer version the announcer was so freaked out that he out he lets a bad word fly. But you can Google the longer version if you're so inclined.

Safety boats rushed out to Mick Fanning once they realized a shark was nipping at his surfboard, and they pulled him to safety. Other surfers were out of the water immediately too and the competition was canceled.

It was the J-Bay Open on Jeffreys Bay in South Africa.

I have a new appreciation for swimming pools! They're so much less risky.
