Some dealerships are even accommodating potential customers as some dealerships are closed and the fear of actually going to them deals are now being conducted by phone and online and a face to face meeting is only required when test driving a vehicle, picking one up or having it delivered.

Alex Flores, who is the General Manager of Capitol Chevrolet in Austin also mentioned to Newman that even after the COVID-19 pandemic passes things will not be the same.

I think it’s going to change the car business forever. We’re doing Internet, email, texting, Zoom meetings, bringing cars to people's homes. We always want to make an appointment in person, but now we’re changing our mindset.
