1. At the Innovation Pipeline, 217 E. Oakwood

"The 2nd Saturday Museum Tour will include a stop at the Innovation Pipeline. Guests can participate in a holiday pallet making class for a small fee or try their hands at a free craft. Light refreshments will be provided from 5pm to 8pm." ~ Innovation Pipeline

2. At Discovery Science Place, 308 N. Broadway Ave.

"Join us for a FREE holiday event at the Discovery Science Place. Bring two canned food items per person to donate to the East Texas Food Bank and play at the museum from 5-8pm, Saturday, Dec. 8th! We’ll have warm apple cider and cookies, face-painting, and a fun “instant-snow” experiment for the kids!" ~ Discovery Science Place

"Tyler Museums Free Open House and our Opening Day for our newest exhibit. Come see the Dr. and Dr. Kerfoot Walker collection of whimsical blown egg art. Nell Burnett was known as Tyler's "Easter Egg Lady" when the Walker family would collect the eggs as a tradition. She created whimsical characters out of the eggs like dinosaurs, a helicopter, Mickey and Minnie, Scarecrow and Tinman, and many more. From 4 PM to 8 PM we will have face painting, crafts, and a family friendly scavenger hunt through the museum." ~ Smith County Historical Society

"If you're looking to get your friends and family something unique, drop by the Tyler Public Library on December 8th for Shop Local! Vendors will set up at 10 a.m. and be available all day. "Entertainment will be provided throughout the day on Saturday, Dec. 9 with vendor booths set up at the Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Concessions and other vendor participation will be provided throughout the garden.
