Alicia Keys Talks About New Album And Hosting The Grammys

Alicia Keys graces the cover of Billboard magazine as she prepares for her upcoming studio album which is her seventh and hosting the Grammy Awards for the second time.

The 15-time Grammy award winner will be gracing the stage again as she talks about what it is like to be in the nominees position.

I know what I normally feel in that room, which is left out and a little bit uncomfortable. I wanted to create this lovefest where we could celebrate each other’s greatness and just have fun. We’re all trying to make our way through a very chaotic time, and we all just need a little celebration -- to feel like we’re with friends, like somebody actually cares.

In addition to hosting the Grammy Awards Keys will also be a receiving the American Express Impact Award at the Billboard Women in Music celebration on Thursday (December 12th) for her involvement to empower female creators in the music industry in which she helped launch in 2018.

Alicia Keys seventh studio album A.L.I.C.I.A. and also her autobiography More Myself: A Journey will be released in Spring 2020.

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards will take place January 26th in Los Angeles.
