A riot is the language of the unheard....

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

America, I would like for you to take a moment and look at what is going on within our great country through the eyes of an African-American male.

See America, what you see happening in Minnesota, and all over, is the frustration of how African-Americans (like myself) and others have been mistreated due to racism, discrimination, police brutality and dealing with a justice system not designed for us to win. We have had enough!

If you don't mind may I share something with you America?

Since the Civil Rights Era in the 1960's, (I could go back further, but I'll keep it here)  just about every riot that took place on U.S. soil has been over, yep you guessed it, police brutality.

See for yourself.....

So, from the 1960's all the way up to 2020, when a riot took place, there has been incidents of police brutality.

America, that is 70 years of oppression that has been neglected or turned a blind eye and now that pain is like a powder keg that has exploded.

Now that you see what I see America let me ask you something...

"How do you like the view of what you see?"

America you know what you have to do, but the REAL question is, are you really ready to deal with the ugly truth of racism and police brutality?

Are you ready to hold yourself accountable and acknowledge that racism and police brutality has no place here?

Are you ready to offer a solid strategic plan to give African-Americans a level playing field for equal justice and equality?

I ask you again America to look through my eyes because history will continue to repeat itself until this evil is defeated and put to an end.

I'm sure I can speak for all African-Americans and say we have been far more than patient. We are waiting on you to join us at the table.

America, it's time to draw a line in the sand and make a choice.

It's up to you...

Power to the people!
