A Chicago Judge has decided today (March 15th) that cameras will be allowed during the trial of R. Kelly.

According to Fox News, R. Kelly one of the most talented R&B singers of this generation is charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse of four women, three of whom were underage at the time.

Associate Judge Lawrence Flood also noted that the accusers are not to be filmed without their consent and two of them have declined.

Kelly has denied all charges and during an interview with Gayle King said "he is fighting for his life."

In another high profile case Empire actor Jussie Smollett has yet come to a decision on whether to allow cameras during his trial.

Smollett, who was charged with felony disorderly conduct for allegedly lying about being the victim of a racist and homophobic attack in Chicago.

According to USA Today, lawyers for Smollett has said she'd welcome cameras, saying there's been a lot of leaked misinformation and the cameras would allow the public to, quote "see the evidence and the lack thereof."

The last high profile trial broadcast was O.J. Simpson's murder trial.
