As Black History Month comes to a close, one of of Black America's heroes will be featured in a Netflix limited series set to debut next month and it looks great!

"Self-Made: Inspired By The Life Of Madame C.J. Walker" will be a 4 part limited series starring Academy Award Winner Octavia Spencer as the trailblazing African-American hair care entrepreneur Madame C.J. Walker, who was America’s first female self-made millionaire.

The series was inspired by the book, “On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C. J. Walker” written by Walker’s great-great-granddaughter A’Lelia Bundles, which tells the story of how Walker overcame racial and gender bias in post-slavery America and the struggles she encountered along the way.

"Self-Made" also stars Blair Underwood as her husband C.J. Walker, Tiffany Haddish as her daughter Lelia, and Bill Bellamy as Sweetness. Check out the trailer above and go ahead and add it to your "Watch List" when the series debuts March 20th on Netflix.
