Almost a month to the day that Dallas rapper Mo3 was gunned down in his hometown in broad daylight, Dallas Police have made an arrest.

According to the Dallas Morning News, police have arrested 22 year old Kewon Dontrell White and will charge him for Mo3's murder which took place on November 11th. Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble, was shot to death on Interstate 35E near the Dallas Zoo.

White, who is currently in federal custody, was indicted Tuesday on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon but police have provided very little information as to why White is considered the gunman.

According to arrest affidavits, a witness spoke with police about White’s involvement after police publicly released images showing the moments before the shooting. Police also obtained evidence that placed White in Noble’s vicinity before and during the shooting and that video police obtained of the suspect matches White’s physical description.

We'll keep you posted with more details as they continue to develop.
