DMX Update: Tests Show No Improvement In Brain Function

The entire world of entertainment continues to show love and support for rapper DMX who remains in a coma after suffering an overdose last Friday.

There have been lots of reports, most of them false, about the rappers condition including a false report that he tested positive for COVID-19. Unfortunately, the latest update we are receiving from TMZ is not good.

According to the celebrity gossip site, a battery of tests were ran on X on Wednesday to determine if his brain showed any signs of activity or function while he's in a coma. The rapper had been deprived of oxygen for nearly 30 minutes before he was discovered and help could arrive.

These tests are important because if X's brain is showing activity, the hope for recovery is greater. If the tests show that he has no brain function, the family will be faced with the difficult decision of taking him off life support.

Reports are that the tests results were not good and this could make for a difficult decision for X's family who has not revealed what their plans are at this time. The report from TMX went on to add that Steve Rifkind, DMX's longtime manager has been asked to fly to New York to visit him for what could be one final time.

We truly hope this isn't the end for a rapper who despite his own personal demons, touched a lot of people through his music. We're praying for you Darkman X, keep fighting!
