Though out the weekend Americans were protesting in unity for George Floyd who was killed Monday (May 25th) from a police officer having his knee on his neck.

Saturday about 100 East Texans were on the Square to voice their concern about police brutality and there were no police in sight during the demonstration per KLTV.

The mixture of young and old were carrying signs and voiced their opinions about police brutality and racism.

From looking at my television all weekend I am glad that East Texas represented and made our voices heard.

Rioting and looting is not the answer, and for everyone that came out in droves I hope you keep that same energy on November 3rd if you really want justice.
