(East Texas) One of the biggest parties in East Texas is coming up Saturday, May 9 in Tyler, Texas. The 12th annual Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival will take place at The Park of East Texas.

What to Expect at the Red Dirt BBQ Festival

At least seventeen of the Lone Star State's best pitmasters will be showing off their skills when it comes to smoking meats. Brisket, sausage, turkey, and more will be in the smokers all night long just waiting to be served up to festival goers on May 9.

In addition to all the barbecue many of these talented pitmasters will be creating some phenomenal and mouthwatering sides and desserts too. From homemade potato salad to jalapeño baked beans, banana pudding, peach cobbler, and more, your taste buds will be in heaven as they savor all those wonderful flavors.

Live Music Lineup

Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival has been entertaining thousands of concertgoers for more than a decade, and that's not going to change this year. This year's entertainment includes Hudson Westbrook, Aaron Watson, Tracy Byrd, Southall, Bottomland, and Parker Ryan.

Ticket Options and Pricing

There are three different tickets to choose from:

• VIP ticket – early entry into the festival, sample BBQ from the joints, a festival t-shirt, 2 drink tickets, and VIP seating area at the stage for the concerts - currently $235 each
• General admission ticket – sample BBQ from the joints and concert admission - currently $117 each
• Concert ticket – access later in the day for the concert only - currently $89 each

VIP and general admission tickets get you access to the barbecue while barbecue supplies last.
