Jarvis Christian College’s 109th Founders Homecoming Mar. 14-21st

A big celebration is coming to Jarvis Christian College as its 109th Founders Homecoming will be celebrated on campus in Hawkins and virtually this year.

There's going to a week of huge activities and events beginning Sunday, March 15
and continuing through Sunday, March 21. According to a press release from JCC, the in-person events on campus will comply with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines on safe interactions and social distancing.

The week-long event will feature legendary R&B bands ZAPP, Lakeside and Con-Funk-Shun, the hilarious Celebrity the Comedian, hip hop star Webbie, and Convocation Speaker Rev. Virzola Law.

The Pioneer Hall of Fame and Preeminence Awards Gala on Friday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. featuring the legendary Con-Funk-Shun. Also performing will be Roxie and the
Band, the Original Lakeside Band and host Celebrity the Comedian. The events will also include the J.N. Ervin Founders Convocation with keynote speaker Rev. Virzola Law, Pastor of Northwest Christian Church.

The week will also include a pool party, roller skating, a gospel concert, baseball
and softball games, a tailgating and cookout party, a parade, silent party, and more. Check out a complete rundown of events below:
