Kilgore Preacher Arrested on Child Sexual Abuse Charge

An ongoing investigation has led to the arrest of a Kilgore pastor. Glenn Douglas Barton, 62, was taken into custody Monday afternoon at a house located at the Calvary Way Church in Kilgore.

A statement by The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kilgore Police Department says Barton is accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child dating back to 2009.

The statement says no other victims appear to be involved at this time, but the case is ongoing.

Barton is being held on a $50,000 bond.
