Lakers Score 51 in Third Quarter to Smash Knicks
It was a painful sight for former coach and now President of Basketball Operations of the New York Knicks Phil Jackson to watch.
The Los Angeles Lakers did something none of his 5 NBA title teams did, scoring a record 51 points in the third quarter of a 127-96 rout of his Knicks.
Mind you, there was no Kobe Bryant or Paul Gasol in the game last night at the Staples Center.
