We're going into Week 3 of the NFL season. Its too early to tell who will make the playoffs or even who will make it to the Super Bowl. A couple of teams are looking really good, though. For this write up, however, I'm gonna look at the 1-1 teams and give them a letter grade of their season so far.

Not the Week to Panic Just Yet

To start the 2022-2023 NFL season there are 19 teams sitting at 1-1, including two divisions where every team is at 1-1. Its not unheard of to have a 1-1 team make the playoffs or even win a Super Bowl so now is not the time to panic, save that for if they're 1-5. I'm going to highlight a couple of the 1-1 teams but give all 19 of them a letter grade for the season so far.

Dallas Cowboys

How frustrating is it right now being a Dallas Cowboys fan? They opened the season with a dud against Tampa Bay Buccaneers then became defensive stalwarts against Cincinnati Bengals. So needless to say, it will be a Jekyll and Hyde season for the Cowboys. That shouldn't be the case for this team, though. On paper, they should be easy favorites to head to the Super Bowl. They just can't execute consistently to make it to the big game. Letter Grade - C

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are in a bit of a transition this season after the retirement of long time quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. So far, they've been okay on offense with Mitch Trubisky leading them. Behind him is rookie Kenny Pickett and veteran backup Mason Rudolph. Their defense has been the star of the season so far but I still see the Steelers as competitors in their division. Letter Grade - B
