Palestine, TX Police Investigating A Pair Of Gas Station Robberies
Police In Palestine Are Busy Investigating A Pair Of Robberies At 2 Different Gas Stations Recently.
Its been my experience that during the holidays, we see more stories like this one of people getting desperate and bold committing robberies. For police in Palestine, they're asking for the public's help in capturing 2 men who robbed two different gas stations within days of each other.
The First Robbery Happened On Friday, Dec. 16th.
Just after 11 p.m., officers from the Palestine Police Department responded to the Mini Mart at 321 W. Palestine Ave. in reference to a reported Aggravated Robbery. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the clerk, who stated that two black males entered the store wearing dark clothing and masks.
Both of the suspects were carrying handguns and demanded money. The suspects took cash from the register, tobacco products and food. The suspects then fled the store on foot.
The Second Robbery Took Place Tuesday, Dec. 20th.
Just before 6 a.m. officers were dispatched to Mr. D’s 3209 W. Oak in reference to an aggravated robbery. Officers arrived and made contact with the clerk, who stated that two black males wearing black jackets and masks entered the store with handguns and demanded money.
The suspects removed cash from the registers and fled on foot towards W. Point tap.
The Palestine Police Department is seeking information and suspect identities for these cases.
