We're Celebrating FREEDOM With Juneteenth Events All Over East Texas.

We're keeping tabs on all things Juneteenth in East Texas as our nation's newest national Holiday approaches on June 19th this year.

While many East Texas communities will continue their long rooted tradition of celebrating on the weekend before Juneteenth, our fam in Kilgore will host a special event and they are inviting everyone to come out and celebrate with a platinum recording artist.

The City of Kilgore is thrilled to announce that Platinum-Certified artist-songwriter BRELAND will take the stage at Kilgore City Park’s amphitheater.

With his platinum debut viral hit “My Truck,” BRELAND has emerged as a bold new force in today’s music landscape.

With two platinum hits under his belt and three top 20 country singles, he has made quite an impact in the music industry as the "Yeehaw Agenda: The push for more Black artists in Country Music" continues.

BRELAND will take the stage on Monday, June 19, for Kilgore Freedom Fest For A FREE Concert!

Along with the FREE Live Concert, this family-friendly event will be enjoyable to everyone with a variety of food trucks, live music, and more! The event kicks off with music by Ramoth Gilead at 6:00 PM up until 8:30 PM at Kilgore City Park located at the corner of E. North Street & Wood Street.
