Aretha Franklin, one of the most iconic voices of R&B is gravely ill according to reports from News One.

The 76-year old singer who was battling illnesses and even cancer in 2011 has been rumored of her health failing, but were denied in November of 2017.

She has canceled events per her doctors until May because of her health per Jet Magazine.

Aretha was born in Memphis, Tennessee and the daughter of Rev. Clarence Franklin.  She resided in Detroit, Michigan as a child and started singing gospel before starting her secular career.

She has a total of 18 Grammy Awards and sold over 75 million records worldwide making her one of the most best-selling musical artist of all time.
