Lately there has been a lot of news in regards to airlines and poor customer service and this time one of my favorite airlines is facing backlash over a video that has went viral when Southwest Airlines crew members removed a father and 2-year-old daughter because was scared and crying on a flight to Atlanta.

KVUE reports that passenger Alexis Armstrong showed the incident from her Facebook page at Midway International Airport where two flight attendants talking to the family as the father try to calm his daughter down.  He asked them for more time to calm her down, but their decision was final as they turned the plane around and removed him from the flight.

Thanks for wasting everyone’s time!

Since the video Southwest has responded with a statement of their own:

We always aim for a welcoming and hospitable experience and regret the inconvenience to all involved. The traveling party was booked on the next flight to Atlanta after the original flight continued as planned. We will reach out to the customer to listen to any concerns they have about their experience and look forward to welcoming them onboard again soon.

The father who remains unidentified was placed on another flight with his daughter.
