Dogs and brunch. Two of our very favorite things. Now lets imagine a scenario where not only are the twin elements of ultimate joy--brunch and dogs--present, but THEN you find out that on top of that a portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to to further the incredible and beautiful work of the SPCA of East Texas, and that just takes it over the top.

It's time for the next 'Pooches on the Patio' event and this one is set for July 21 from 10 a.m until 12 p.m. at the Roost Chicken Salad & Deli 3314 Troup Highway location in Tyler. Delicious food, fun times with our canine companions, and an opportunity to benefit the SPCA of East Texas.

Do keep in mind the Northeast Public Health District and the SPCA of East Texas have a couple of guidelines that must be followed. If you bring your dogs, make sure they are up to date on their vaccinations and that they wear their most current tags. Puppies under the age of one should also be fully vaccinated. Finally, if you have any "unaltered" dogs, you may want to leave them to chill at the house. After all, we want everyone to be neighborly--but not too neighborly, ya know what I mean?

Connect with the SPCA of East Texas and learn more about these ongoing events and more here.
