Back on August 26, 2023 at The Oil Palace here in Tyler, Kenneth "The Problem Child" Taylor made his dreams into reality when he took home The IBA Featherweight Championship.

 

 

The exciting win was the culmination of years of hard work and now the East Texas native is ready to climb the ranks of the boxing world. But how he got here is a fascinating story and what he does for work when he's not training for his next match is even more fascinating and he recently stopped by to share his story.

 

"The Problem Child" Also Works As A School Teacher At A Tyler ISD Elementary School.

When "The Problem Child" isn't boxing, he's a Physical Education teacher at Griffin Elementary in Tyler. After winning his championship, the students and faculty of Griffin gave him a "hero's welcome" back to school as they lined the hallways and congratulated the new champion as he returned to work.
