Tyler Perry has hired a personal medical examiner to perform a second autopsy on his deceased nephew who committed suicide while in a Louisiana prison.

According to TMZ, Perry's nephew Gavin Porter was serving a 20 year prison sentence for shooting and killing his father in front of his mother was founding hanging in his cell last week.

Tyler who was very suspicious of his nephews death because Gavin was involved in an altercation with another inmate as was placed in solitary confinement called in famous pathologist Dr. Michael Baden.

Baden who is no stranger after being involved in many high profile cases like JFK, O.J. Simpson, and Jeffery Epstein.

Tyler said in a statement,

Call me naive, but it was my hope that after serving his time, and really reflecting and showing much remorse and asking God for forgiveness, that he would have been able to come to work for me, joining all the other former inmates who work for me and turn his life around just as they have, but that day will never come.

Perry also stated that him or his family are not conspiracy theorist and want to believe there was no foul play involving his nephew's death.

The Union Parish Sheriff's Office also said in a statement there is an active investigation going on at the prison's request and waiting for the results of the first autopsy.  They didn't suspect foul play and also looking into the altercation between him and the other inmate.

This investigation is still pending.
