Tyler Police Respond to Shooting In Best Buy Parking Lot
Tyler Police responded to shots being fired at the Best Buy parking lot on South Broadway Wednesday afternoon. East Texas Matters reports shell casings were found at the scene, but any potential evidence was washed away in the rain.
The incident happened around 2:30pm and two suspects were taken into custody at the intersection of Shiloh and New Copeland after a suspected vehicle was spotted leaving the scene. Our media partner KLTV states both of the suspects were detained and are being questioned after finding marijuana and a firearm. So far, two vehicles including a Geek Squad van have been found with bullet holes in them.
Authorities are asking for footage of the incident from local businesses while the investigation is still pending. Tyler Police believe the area is safe and the public isn't in any danger.
Nobody was injured from the incident.
