West Coast Rap Legends Too Short & E-40 Verzuz Battle

It was truly a celebration of West Coast hip hop, especially for the Bay Area, as hip hop legends Too $hort and E-40 battled over the weekend in the most recent edition of Verzuz.

After last week's postponement of Ashanti Vs. Keyshia Cole, the two legends stepped up for the final battle of 2020. While many didn't really consider it a "battle" given that 40 and Short are true friends and collaborators who just released a double album together, that didn't stop the trash talk.

“All this friendly stuff is cool, but I’ve been knowing 40 for 30 plus years, I don’t think he’s going to be this friendly when we get in the battle. He’s prob gonna swing a baseball bat at me, something’s gonna happen. He’s probably gonna turn into the goon, the goon with the spoon and hit me with a spoon or something, you know.” - Too Short
