Houses are expensive these days, but one five-bedroom home in Houston has received a lot of attention because the asking price is just $1!

Just imagine living in a home with 5 bedrooms, new marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, a fireplace, and jet tub listed for $1!

KHOU Houston report, 18531 Berry Leaf Court is a beautiful two story, 3,000 plus square foot home is leaving people shocked as the 10-foot-tall "For Sale" banner hands in the backyard and for good reason.

Since the house has gone viral because of the asking price the agent Wes Stoyanov revealed there is a catch to the asking price -- the seller is seeking the best offer, with the $1 set as the minimum gets the house.

I think I’ve had a lot of good feedback and I do think there are some people out there who are kind of questioning the whole marketing strategy.  I think it’s going to be a very positive outcome.

The house was valued at $250,000 in last year's tax appraisal.
