Most Arrests in Anderson County, Texas This Past Weekend Involved Drugs

Everyone knows that working in law enforcement in East Texas or anywhere for that matter is a difficult and stressful job. But these brave men and women are putting their lives on the line to make sure our communities are staying safe. Local law enforcement keeps a list of all the people arrested and I’ve reached out to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office to see who was arrested this past weekend (7/22/22-7/24/22). 

The goal here is to inform others in East Texas as to what kind of crime is typical in the area that we live. While some see it as shaming the offenders, that is not the goal, but hopefully with lists like this being promoted it will give people breaking the law one more reason to stop what they are doing. Please also remember that if you know anyone on this list they are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Many Arrests in Anderson County, Texas for the Same Illegal Activity 

If you speak with any law enforcement officer it seems like often you hear drugs are a huge problem in East Texas and the list of arrests prove that fact. More than half of all people arrested this past weekend in Anderson County were related to drugs and that number only grows when you include alcohol.
