All Five Living Former Presidents to Attend Concert For Hurricane Relief in Texas
This Hurricane season with Harvey, Irma, and Maria has been catastrophic, causing hundreds of billions of dollars in property damage, displacing millions and destroying entire communities. As a result, our fellow Americans are facing overwhelming challenges. So, the only five living former U.S. Presidents have come together to bring their hurricane relief efforts to a concert stage in Texas.
From NBC Washington, the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation is proud to present the “Deep From The Heart: The One America Appeal” benefit concert which will take place at Reed Arena at Texas A&M University on October 21st.
The concert will feature acts from Lyle Lovette, Alabama, Cassadee Pope, Stephanie Quayle, The Gatlin Brothers, Robert Earl Keen, Yolanda Adams, and emcee Lee Greenwood.
Former presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama will come together to create the “One America Appeal” after the devastation to expand fundraising for victims of Hurricane Irma and Maria.
