Those damn yankees rolled through East Texas this week.

No, it's not an invasion of northerners. They came to help with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Trinity, Texas police recorded the movement of members of the New York Police Department and New York Fire Department rolling through East Texas earlier this week headed to Houston.

The mayor of New York sent about 120 of New York's finest as repayment for Texas' help during Hurricane Sandy, which caused massive damage to the New Jersey area in 2012 according to KETK.

The one thing New York and Texas have in common is their pride from being from their respective areas. We like to rib each other, but it's all in good fun. Thank you New York for your help and welcome to Texas.
