Simply amazing!

That's was the vibe Friday night (June 28th) as The Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie welcomed "The Songstress" Anita Baker during her farewell tour.

The sold out crowd cheered as soon as she hit the stage with an opening number from LaBelle "Lady Marmalade" and from that moment I knew the night was going to be incredible.

From her catalogue of hits like Mystery, Fairy Tales, Giving You The Best That I've Got just the name a few; Anita Baker has not missed a step during her 90 minute performance that kept the audience engaged.

The most entertaining moment of the night was when the The Verizon Theater turning into a Mass Choir singing along to her classics "Sweet Love" and "Caught Up In The Rapture."

Anita Baker found out first hand how much her music has made an impact on her fans and she was even humble enough to accept roses from them during her set.

I have been a huge fan of "Auntie Anita" from the very beginning and even during my early days in radio I had the honor of interviewing her and it's still in the archives!
