Finally: Keyshia Cole VERZUZ Ashanti Battle Will Happen….Maybe

After multiple false starts and rescheduling, the battle we WAS highly anticipating but have since cooled on, is, according to them, going to happen....maybe.

According to VERZUZ, the battle of hits between R&B divas Ashanti and Keyshia Cole has been given what they are calling its "NEW AND FINAL" date of Thursday night January 21st.

In the caption of their IG post, they said "RAIN, SLEET, HAIL SNOW," but none of those things caused the frequent postponements. LOL!

The original battle was slated for December 12th but Ashanti tested positive for COVID-19 before their in-person appearance was supposed to take place. So the show was moved to January 9th but after the wild events of January 6th and citing COVID cases rising across the country, the battle was once again postponed.

This lead to lots of disappointment on social media as well as frustration when even Keyshia Cole posted a "side eye"😒emoji in the VERZUZ IG comments after the show was postponed a second time.
