Last night at the opening night of the Republican National Convention, loads of racist, ill-informed rhetoric was spewed by virtually everyone who hit the stage (seriously, Sheriff David Clarke Jr., if you make Don Lemon appear woke, you need to do some serious internal reflection, dude).

But all of that aside, it was surprisingly Melania Trump who took to the stage and promptly stole the show. Literally. Her speech was eerily similar to Michelle Obama's speech at the 2008 Democratic Convention, or as NBC News says, "bears a striking resemblance" to the first lady's address.

And well, since Twitter is gonna Twitter, Melania was immediately, no-so-nicely called on it, with the birth of #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes. Actor and activist Jesse Williams may've went the hardest though, referencing lyrics from everyone from Rihanna to Vanilla Ice to Lil Wayne as he mocked her.

The Breakfast Club's Charlamagne tha God gave Melania his Donkey of the Day stamp, adding further insult to injury. Trump's camp denies the plagiarism allegations, because of course they do.

Check out hilarious tweets from Jesse and others below.
