Troubled R&B singer R. Kelly has pleaded not guilty to new charges of bribery from his 1994 marriage to the late Aalyiah.

According to TMZ, Kelly's attorney Steven Greenberg arrived at Brooklyn federal court and entered a plea of not guilty as his client was there via remote video feed from a federal detention center in Chicago.

The prosecution claims the singer and others bribed an government employee of Illinois so he could buy a "fraudulent identification document" for an unidentified woman on August 30th 1994 in which the following day Kelly married Aalyiah who was then 15-years old in a secret ceremony in Chicago.

These charges has been added to the long list of allegation charges filed against Kelly in New York that accuses him of sexually exploiting underage girls.

Kelly has also pleaded not guilty to multiple sex crimes filed against him since February 2019.

His trial dates are scheduled for April 2020 in Chicago, March 2020 in New York, and another state case in Chicago 2020.
